: Interesting to note, KC trunk system's LERN receiver picked up WSP unit real well, got the slightet bit o' scratch from "other agency" at first, then nothing. Odd, this receiver Type I TGID 786-1, Type II TGID 62864) hears units all over several countis, have heard as far as Mason county, but in downtown Seattle, didn't hear squat. Agency obviously using HT's, but still...

Ps- I've heard the receiver for LERN is high atop Rattlesnake Mtn, so I could see picking up mobiles (100 watts?) from Mason Co, but handhelds (2-4 watts?) in downtown Seattle?
