While seemingly every other public agency in the City of Seattle has moved to the 800 mhz trunked system, Seattle Transportation Department vehicles sport VHF Hi-band 1/4 wave antennas. Anyone know the freqs they use, and what higher wisdom was bestowed upon them that they were spared the incessant *bonk* of Motorola's superb trunking systems?
