The new bulletin board gives you some options as to how things appear on your screen.

After you log in, click on "User Control Panel" then click on the "Board Preferences" tab.

Where it says "My board style" you can choose either "subsilver2" or "prosilver".

(subsilver2 is pretty much what the old bulletin board was using)

Try each one and use whichever your prefer.

How about the upper-right logo with the 'mouse-on' command?
The 'mouse-on' is active, but no logo.

can i request that on page load all post are read? i cant find this as a user option.
