Heard this callsign being used on 157.075 by uscg station Bellingham

later I heard RoadHog-21 reporting back that they were enroute to
the Bellingham iap after passing the us/can border.

is Roadhog-21 the famous Blackhawk Helicopter we canadians should
stay away from if we're too close to the border????? hehehe

Im sure the callsign I heard was RoadHog-21
Ive heard the Firewood callsign before but only on whidbey freqs.
Doubt that they would come up on a uscg freq unless they were involved in a sar mission.
I have heard Omaha helo's assist in sar missions but use thier own freqs to pass traffic.

I've heard Omaha on CG before, not recently. CG has been using more tactical callsigns in the last year. I've been hearing more aircraft up on Cg freq's over the last 6 months. I've wondered if a few have been CA P flights that were doing dual duty - mostly from the way they communicated over the radio.

well I guess I answered my own question

I just heard RoadHog-21 up on 157.075 again tonight passing traffic to cg station Bellingham.
it appears that it is to be a uscg law enforcement helo (judging from the
background sound of the comms) patrolling the waters around the us/can border.

At 10:45 pm Monday on 350.025 HAMMER was trying to raise Road Hog 22, and about 6 pm Road Hog 47 landed at Whidbey.
