Is anyone else having any issue with a week control channel on this system today? I am on my BC 780xlt from Woodinville with an outdoor antenna on my deck.(on the 3rd floor of a condo) I'm located near the county line, across from the Target Shopping complex. Less than a mile up the road is the county line. I have scratchy reception on this system on a daily basis and today its hardly aquiring the CC.. Any suggestions? Where is the closest tower located?

Now as of tonight, 6:15PM its working pretty darn good. I actually just adjusted the height on the antenna. lowered it a little. Also i checked and re-connected all the connections.. Not sure what was up but it was pretty weak earlier. Maybe just has to do with antenna placement?????

Do you happen to live near a Sprint/Nextel cell phone site? These can really wipe out a TRS radio signal.

I know from experiance that if SNOPAC tones out SCFD # 7, E74 or M74 in Maltby and Dispatch is on the wrong transmitter for that area which is the Clearview Tower, 180th S.E. & SR9 they might be on the North Transmitter the Station Digital Pagers will go off but no Station Tones or voice. This is true for over the Air. 9 times out of 10 if they switch back to the Clearview Tower everything is clear.

So Cowboymike Are you listening to 3 differant 800 Mhz Systems ? King County, Seattle and Snohomish County. I think you can eliminate one if you listen to Seattle talk Groups on the King Conty System or Eastside System.
