Livign in Seattle and wanting to upgrade to a higher end scanner. The 2096 seems to be cheaper. How do the two scanners compare? Does the 2096 program trunked 400 mhz frequencies? Which radio do you folks recommend?

Who do you like to listen to that uses the Trunked 400 system? (Military)

Yes, I want to scan the military trunked systems if it is possible. This is an awfully cool hobby!!!
