Comms are: West side of slide: Fire TAC 7
Eest side of slide: Fire TAC 8
Snohawk Helicoptors on 155.37 along with Command
Some rescue comms on 155.415
Air-to-Air: 123.1

There are challenges with comms between the various choppers and command. The Navy has a chopper on the scene callsign Firewood 17. I have heard a number of basket lifts of victims using the Snohawk choppers. A Lifeflight chopper has taken a 6-month old child to Harborview. I heard about several others being rescued including one man with a amputated arm. The river is completely dammed up with slide debris and there is very serious concern about this blockage breaking loose and endangering the rescue teams and those living downriver, thus a reverse 911 call is being made to suggest evacuation.

But better signals on Kitsap County Fire Five (153.770) from whatever Snohomish County repeater output that happens to be on their system...

3 died. 8 injured and in the hospital. 6 homes destroyed. Mud dam has formed and keeping water from flowing past slide area.

They have evacuated all the fire & s&r people from the mud slide area and are only allowing the helios in the area.
Flooding is occurring up stream and the mud dam may open up and send a 10 to 15 foot wall of water and mud all the way down the river as far as Stanwood. They did find another survivor about an hour ago.

You should hear plenty of it on the SnoCo North feed.

Also, go to our feed archives and check this one out:
