Here is the best (free) FTP:

It works better than some of the commercial stuff. The things I like are parallel transfers with active completion-status, server lists, drag-n-drop, idle session keepalive, and correct handling of Active/Passive modes.

As for HTML, I do it in a text-editor. Old habits die hard when you've been doing this stuff for way too many years.
