Yeah mine sounds like they are in a can. And I get a little here and a little there, but nothing major. I have mine set to the D30 NAC, then another one set on NAC scan on the 154.920 frequency.

I think I will setup the Astro Spectra to do mixed mode on the Vancouver frequencies just in case.

I'd be curious to see if the NAC "plan" that has been described is actually seen to exist. (i.e. DX0 where x is the district #)

That would be interesting to see. I have't heard anything on the digital today, and the analog is still just noise.

We've been listening to it all day and it's remarkably clear in Moses Lake. The noise you're hearing is probably the P25 traffic. Run the channel in NAC search mode.

I heard Yakima over on this side too.

Yes, there is a large reflector over here

I have 2 channels programmed. One is on the NAC search, and the other is on NAC D30. Still nothing much on mine. Probably the scanner itself I mean it is a homopatrol scanner...lol

I moved it over by a window and it is a little better, still doesnt sound good. Sounds all warbled, and not like the old analog used to sound. This sounds like CRAP.

Oh you're trying to do this with one of those piles!? Why didn't you say so! LMAO!

Do you have the firmware/version that allows for direct entry or are you relying on the horribly inaccurate and outdated RR DB?

Yeah same for Seattle. I've got my PSR800 set up for capturing any digital traffic on P25 for 155.58 -- so if those techs try to be sneaky and transmit at 3am... I should capture it. ;)

They played with it during the day on the digital side before they made the change. I was hearing the noise on the analog side. So you should know when they are playing with it.

I use the computer program which is sentinal. I can do manual entry. But I went through and did them manually since RR doesn't update thier DB. So I set one search for the NAC code, and the second to NSC D30. Now that it is by the window it sounds better, but it sucks that I have to have it on the other side of the room to listen to it..
