I Live grant county i understand that in Feb 2013 MACC is going 800 P25 can i Just program in the simulcast freq's. :beer:

It would be either P25 or Motorola, not both. They are two different trunked system standards.

HMM OK I was Told that P25 was a form of digital Trunk system that cannot be scanned, {I E Listened too] :beer:

it can be scanned! listening however is a different story...the voice channels might encrypted!

P-25 trunked systems can certainly be scanned. All of the current digital scanners were designed around tracking P-25 trunked systems, as well as Motorola, EDACS, LTR.

Now if the system administrators decide to provide voice encryption, there's nothing you can do to get around that. Encryption is not specific to P-25, it can be used on other trunked radio systems as well. It's just easier to add on a digital trunked system, such as a P-25 system.
