i know it can be done on the Astro Sabers and the 3000 maybe even the 3500

how can you program the radios so they dont affiliate and you can use them to monitor only.

if you cam pm me id like some info

You may want to think about programming a radio without the authorization of the system owner. Some of them take offense to this, since it does require a system key. Motorola tends to take offense to people using lab software too.

I can point you to the correct system owner if you'd like.
