We have an amateur radio club in Sammamish - our monthly meeting is Wednesday, 7pm at fire station 83 on Issaquah-Pine Lake road (south end of Sammamish).

We do field day events, and are currently working closely with the Fire Department SSV (amateur radio disaster comms) group. We do mostly local stuff as a group, but are figuring out what members want (including doing more kits/practical electronics, etc.). Feel free to drop by.

 Microhams

Meet somewhere at the Microsoft Campus someplace :?: They actually do stuff, including a digital comms conference they put on annually and even bother to set up a field day station someplace. They also teach ham licensing classes and VE testing... I am sure firing up a search engine will reveal some actual information about the organization... I know what I know by listening to some of the members when they get on the radio and discuss club activities  8) :bowrofl:

Can't get much closer to Redmond than Redmond

The Issaquah Amateur Radio Club meets the first Wed of the month. Location is the Senior Center, Sunset and Front Streets, located behind the police department and old train depot. People usually start showing up around 7, meetings start at 7:30.

what about the lakewashington hams club the kids one.. they allow adults as well but mostly kid centered.

M&K is a bit more south county

N7KE is one that has some chatter every now and then

also Microhams "While membership is limited, the public and guests are welcome at the majority of our events. "

WA7LAW is north of redmond

BEARS is another that is Boeing Centered

W7DK club
W7BI club
WA7FW club
W7AVM club

this is leaving out all the local jurisdiction emergency groups and ARES
