Its been while since I have monitored them but here is what I have found...

455.6875 PL-141.3 KIRO Chopper to Station
450.6875 PL-141.3 KIRO Chopper to Station
450.8000 KIRO news feed to chopper (basically live radio)
450.4125 146.2 KOMO Chopper to station
455-1125 146.2 KOMO Chopper to Station
455.5000 KING5 Chopper
122.775 News Chopper coordination on scene

Those are the ones I got while watching all the choppers over a fire. The KIRO feed is interesting, as they feed the live audio to the chopper so they can hear when they are about to go on the air. I wasn't able to locate anything similar for KING or KOMO... Not sure what they use... Was also interesting listening to them coordinate with each other for shots...

No problem... I left them in my scanner, as I was sure they might come in handy some day... Let me know if you find anything else, or anything new as I am sure there are other frequencies they use, especially on the ground... These are just what I was able to intercept from the aircraft...

I saw where Kiro TV rebanded or changed the 863.0375 freq recently, not sure how heavily it's used.

Never found them on 800... Interesting... I think to also note, there are two different KIRO, the radio station and the TV station... TV has the Choppers, and the radio station uses cessna's for traffic reports, and they are not affiliated in any way, in fact KIRO Radio is affiliated with KING5 now as a news and weather partner...

Icom is right they do run a 800Mhz on the freq. that he was talking about, as well as a raw feed from ground to air on 450.8000. I listen to theses two on the way home everyday to the north end of Snohomish County.

Until recently KIRO Traffic was using the Metro Traffic freq on UHF as a broadcast remote in between aircraft coordination with Metro Base. I wonder if they started using that 800MHz freq as their remote.

No- they are still on 450 and going to stay there for a while.
