central pierce fire and rescue question

While browsing Central Pierce's website I saw a firefighter wearing a helmet with N611 on it. Does anyone know what the N stands for. I know the 611 means it responds out of Station 6-1 in Parkland. If it helps any he was wearing water rescue equipment and standing next to Central Pierce's water rescue rig.

I would bet it was actually an "M" not an "N". and it would be for Medic611.

I saw the same photo and another one of just the helmet.

Save the photo and zoom in with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and you can see that it is a M, not N.

No matter which way I look at that photo it looks like an N to me

Yeah every way I look at it it looks like an N also. I have zoomed if flipped it and everything else and it still looks like an N. I sent an email to Central Pierce but have not heard back yet.

Are we all looking at the same picture here? The one I am talking about the guy is standing behind the Special Operations Team Water Rescue Unit with a nother firefighter in front of the trailer with the jetskis.

I have figured it out. The N stands for Marine Unit. I noticed when I went to the East Pierce website, Their marine unit also was listed as N46. The only reason I can think of is all the other letters in Marine are already taken.

RESCUE
INVESTIGATOR
N(MARINE)
ENGINE
