Pierce County water rescue crews are responding to a report of an 11-year-old boy slipping into the White River along Highway 410 near Crystal Mountain. More to follow.

GREENWATER, Wash. - Rescue teams are responding after receiving a report that an 11-year-old boy has fallen into White River in the Snoqualmie National Forest.

According to initial reports, the boy fell into the river along Highway 410 near Greenwater. He was wearing only a T-shirt and jeans.

Pierce County Sheriff's Office spokesman Ed Troyer said rescuers are on the scene, but have not yet found the boy.
