The FCC is requesting that the public tell the FCC which way to go --- with Low Powered FM stations. With a mass of FM translator applications now put on hold --- the FCC wants to hear from the public on several things that the FCC can do to improve LPFM. Extending the time a station takes to be built is first on the list. Another deals with being able to sell or transfer a LPFM. Should the FCC allow a minor change in the "Board of Directors" ? What about any requirements for "local Programming" ?? You can file online. Its a snap and has as much weight as a formial FCC filing -- provided you meet the deadline. See the FCC daily diegest of March 17, 2005. If you think that the FCC should do more for local low powered FM radio -- get off you butts and file your views -- by email.
