Here is another one from a guy that just got a pro 106 a week ago. I must admit that I imported most of it from my pro 97 file.

(revised and reuploaded KINGPIERCE.p500 file, removed the comma. I am running on an XP media center PC)

Maybe the OS doesn't like the comma in the filename.

I bet thats it, I will try later with a different PC. It could be that Win500 does not like the "," on my end.
I renamed the file with out the "." still will not load I will try a different PC later. when you down load it shows up as file.p500.

Just picked up a -197
Downloaded the files that were kindly posted here.

Loaded successfully into -197
Power on, "scanning", as my 5 yo nephew says "I got Nuthin"

I do see it stop on a bank name for a period, but no audio or ID's
Display says "G" "S." and scanning.

Anything stoopid I missed here?

and the last couple...

Oregon is I-5 corridor to Salem, and over the mountains (Bend north).
OregonCoast is the entire coast all the way to California.
WestWash is everything Western Wash outside of Pierce/King/Sno counties.
EasternWash is everything east of the cascades.
King, Pierce, Sno should be self explanitory.
I copied my virtual scanner layout too so you can flash the entire scanner's memory....

If you loaded up king county, and want to listen to south end/federal way traffic, I'd listen to banks 6 & 7, that's valleycom, and probably parts of bank 5, KCSO.

Honestly if I lived down south I'd rearrange so less emphasis on north end cities... :-)

[EDIT: Added a new westwash.p500 file with the Clallum/Jefferson updates on a recent thread.]

I downloaded all of your files, and loaded the King County.
I was (trying to) listen to banks 8&9.
I never heard a thing, but the display did seem to pause on "Valleycom" at different times.

I am indoors in a fairly decent location, I can pick up both Seattle and KC/VC simulcasts with a handheld indoors. I did verify that the attenuator is off. It does seem strange I am not receiving anything. When I bought it last weekend, I loaded the Seattle simulcast control channel and had it in search, and did receive various TG's while I was up in West Seattle.

I will try connecting an outdoor antenna tomorrow.

Thank you for the most recent files, I will save those and update tomorrow.

Is there a way that we could have this added as a sticky there is a lot of good info here just a thought on my end, but it would be very cool if there was a area in the database that we could upload our files in there native format IE... Win97,96 ETC, this week I fail off a platform at work broke a few Ribs cant sleep well, the plat forum broke crazy it was about a ten feet fall and hit a 1x1 steal tube and the pain, well this not needed.
it was like slow motion, I could not believe that it was happing to me, any how cant sleep cant walk so I Just READ online forums, how about a area in the database that we have files that we can download and take a look at and see if it works for us.

Just upload them to the appropriate county page in the wiki. If the file extension is something other than .p500 let me know and I'll add it to the list of permitted upload extensions.
