Cmd post is at NW Trek. PC East Admin is now the active chan. At least officer involved shooting. BOLO for a Comcast van. I do not know if 2 deputies were hit.

EATONVILLE, Wash. -- Two Pierce County deputies are in critical condition after they were shot near Eatonville. The suspected shooter is dead, said Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened in the 33300 block of Tanwax Court East.

At least one deputy is being airlifted to a local hospital.

Police say this started as a domestic violence call.

At least the suspected shooter is dead......

After the lakewood police officers were murdered there was an article on policelink with the headline "1970s Trend of Assassinating Cops Returning?" I thought at the time it seemed plausible, but now with this latest shooting it isn't a question anymore. I was in a seattle based chatroom just recently and I told them about this latest shooting, and their response was that they were going to kill more cops, that they should "plant an ied on the funeral cars" and all this other stuff which I wont say. We live in some scary times. I reported them to the police, I hope they get roughed up for threatening police officers like that.

I don't read it from the news sites as premeditated. Two brothers fighting when the police showed up. Domestics especially this time of year can go bad. Too much booze and in-fighting.

According to Ed Troyer one of the brothers at the home ran upstairs when the officers arrived and armed himself and hid and opened fired on them when they came upstairs.
