Two meter stuff still run by a "Pete" just with a different last name.

We will be going up on Gold Mt this coming spring to replace the 440 antenna so things should get better...
I went up the tower a week ago and did a dtf test on the line and found an issue. Still on the air but a little reduced.

Pete P was having to absorb the cost of the system and as a retired guy that was no fun.

Pete "N7KFJ" has the K.O. and Lyman 147.20 sites still on the air just with some new configuration. With 146.98 as the central freq.

Beats me.

Is 147.200 on Lyman on the air again?
What is the tone?

Lyman lost the tower last year. They have not finished replacing it.

Pete Kruml replaced the equipment this year.

The antennas are building mounted and there is an issue with the link. Its on the air but presently not linked with the rest of the system.

The tone has been changed to 118.8 till PK gets back up there and makes a planned change. Im not sure what the new tone will be...

I whipped out my cable and did a bunch of changes to my handheld, the IC208H in the house with the software and hope I'm up to date now. Still need to do the other IC208H in the car today now while the rain has slowed up. Thanks for the info. 73

Are you a ham CH?

I use Motorola commercial radios. Which work great once programmed but the particular series I use are very vulnerable to corruption while being programmed. So it's pray to bat wings and hope I don't have to send it to Mexico.

Wow. I can hit the 147.200 on Lyman again. Can bring up the 146.980 but it is pretty
weak. Weather conditions may be a factor today.
