I noticed some differences between the Yakima county page and the list of frequencies on your website http://www.jrw14493.xtreemhost.com/radios.html. For example, the page here at http://interceptradio.com/slocal.php?di ... nty=Yakima says 156.210 is a data channel, your page says it's 156.210 – Yakima, Selah & Union Gap Police Departments Main Dispatch....

Which is correct? I'm happy to update the Yakima page but wanted to make sure it has the correct data.

Dog-

Thanks for pointing that out.

YPD switched their data channel with the dispatch channel and then decided that they didn't like it, or for whatever reason, and now it's back the other way...I must have not changed it everywhere

The correct Data Channel for YPD, Selah & Union Gap PD's is 156.210. The Dispatch channel is 156.015. It's been changed back in the database.

I have also learned through counting money at work and programming that I am slightly dyslexic which could be the other problem...

What else did you notice? Wow...I didn't realize the errors on my page...

Just wanted to point out that on the page that the link goes to in the first post

1. White Swan Ambulance is not ran by the Town of White Swan, but by the federal government. Department of the Interior specifically the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

2.
Quote:
There are no agencies in the Upper Yakima Valley that
transport to the Hospital except for ALS Ambulance.

AMR transports in the upper valley as well. As far as I know ALS hasn't pushed them out, lol. They have a station on South 2nd Ave just south of Walnut in Yakima as well as a stations in Union Gap across from the Peppermint Stick and also in Toppenish just across the street from Toppenish Community Hospital. I am unsure if they still have their 4th station out in West Yakima or not.

3. Toppenish PD does its own dispatching.
Also, I am unsure ,but last I knew Zillah PD also did their own ,but only from 8-5 mon-fri all other times they are dispatched under YSO.

4. Prosser Hospital also does transport in the lower valley. They have a medic unit based in Grandview. They are also under contract with YCFD5 for dispatch services to their units.

Is that done simplex or do they have a repeater? Freq?

Same questions apply...

I've got Prosser Ambulance on their own repeater with a DPL. Are they also dispatched over 154.385? I thought the Grandview based unit got scrapped due to budget shortfalls this late winter/early spring?

toppenish pd 155.685 simplex 156.090 repeater

can not confirm zillah. just going from what i have been told by a friend who was an officer for them.

I know sometimes prosser gets dispatched over 154.385 and sometimes over their own frequency dont ask me how that works. I do know for a fact that ycfd5 is doing it for them they have been since april of 2006.

first page last paragraph... http://ycfd5.com/img/minutes/22.pdf

the city of grandview was picking up some of the tab and that stopped the prosser ambulance from being axed in grandview.

Do you have PL's or TX to the repeater?

Ok, I'll have to dig that up some more. Thanks again for filling in the hole for the Lower Valley. As you can probably read, I'm up in West Valley in Yakima and don't listen to the Lower Valley much and frankly can't hear very much anyways.

Plug in 159.210 and let me know what you hear...

I thought family members had told me the Prosser Memorial Hospital ALS service lost it's funding a year or so ago when a bond issue failed. It sounds as though they are still running. Are they dispatched by the City of Prosser, Yakima or Benton Counties or someone at the hospital? Are there any private ambulance companies in the lower valley? I know Prosser had American Ambulance but I believe Rusty has retired and I thought there was one in Sunnyside years ago.

I didn't realize how much I could hear with my radio set-up...

While listening to the Lower Valley Fire and Prosser Ambulance Repeater's last night, the Lower Valley Fire dispatcher would dispatch out the call and then hop over to the Prosser Ambulance repeater and dispatch them. Except he was dispatching Prosser City over the ambulance repeater, so I have no Idea now...

Lower valley district 5 also dispacthes for klickitat county districts in alderdale and bickelton. ( district 7 ?? )

As for private ambulance companies in the lower valley there is amr. I am not sure if prosser hospital would be classified as private or not.
Sunnyside ambulance which is their city fire dept and then white swan ambulance which is federal government-BIA operated.

Bickelton is KCFPD2 and Alderdale (east end of the county) is KCFPD 10. KCFPD7 is Goldendale "Rural7".
