Any ideas? It sounds like a fairly active dispatch channel but I can't find any references to it on Intercept.

WSP is licensed on this in Richland & Yakima area.

It is also used by PD in Pierce county and Hoquiam PD on this side of the mountains.

Well, hard to believe I'd be picking this up from Bellevue. It sounds like WSP but I suppose it could be Pierce Co. They still on VHF?

Its in our database under Pierce Co. Sheriff. Just click "Database Search" then put in 155.640. It usually helps to specify United States/Washington too as there are quite a few 155.640's out there. Best of all, we don't try to charge people money to search our database by frequency (unlike some other websites).

LESA West is on 155.640. It used to be everything west of I-5 and was superbusy, but since then Lakewood has moved to the Tacoma TRS and it's slowed down considerably. You're hearing it from Gold Mountain, which means it blasts all over the region like everything else that's up there. It includes PCSD in the Peninsula area, Gig Harbor, University Place (PCSD), DuPont, and Steilacoom.

155.640 is used by WA State Dept of Corrections in Yakima & Richland not WSP.

WSP dispatched here on 154.920. County corrections around here uses UHF repeaters and 800mhz analog repeater in the state owned Ahtanum View Correctional facility. I'll have to see if I can find anything on 155.640 around here...

if you follow the big WSP thread which only gets shut down for posts by the PDW thread now, but in pages of WSP thread I still dont fully understand how WSP works. I find its best to not scan all WSP and just listen to what you know watches the freeways you want.

Last week I heard car to car in north clark county on 154.755(bellingham). So as I've said before put in all the freq's and lock out the counties you don't want to listen to. Whenever I go over the pass I always reset all the lockouts in the WSP bank.

There was a halfway house group home on 155.640 in the Yakistan area a few years ago...When I get home and read my old notes I'll look for it.

154.755 is "Car 3" in Dist 5
