I'd have think the kid's in the right - every time II go into 7-11, I get videotaped, a bank, a grocery store - so many places record us for security reasons. I wonder if I went into 7-11 and recorded with a non-concealed video camera if I'd get kicked out? What if I told them it was for personal security so I could identifgy someone who might attack me before entering exiting, or even while in the store?
Then again in this case, if the officer was part of some kind of sting operation, and the kid videotaping it was 'blowing their cover,' the court could easily [as could I] that the kid was endangering the officer's safety, and possibly his own.
