A new bootleg FM station --- called WHORE seems to be broadcasting on 101.9. The station might be located near Capital Hill as the coverage area is best in the Downtown area. Someone named "DJ Allen" claims to be the "owner". Can anyone else hear this station ??

I only get bleed over from KPLZ "Star" 101.5, 99,000 ERP out of Cougar.

Some "U" student looking to further his broadcasting career! I'm heading into Seattle here soon and will listen on my way in and get back later tonight.

So on my way into work yesterday afternoon, I put the car radio on 101.9 and left it there. On I-90 about the top of Eastgate hill, I started picking up a faint signal with a lot of white noise. By the time I got to the bottom of the hill, it was gone. Between M.I. and Mt. Baker, the faint signal was there again but nothing that was intelligible. As I came out of the Mt Baker tunnel, the signal was there again alittle stronger but was in and out with kind of a pulsing signal. As I came around the corner and headed off on to I-5 southbound, the signal was even stronger but, still mostly unintelligible due to the pulsing. Near BFI, I went to a parking lot and turned circles till I could hear the signal. The music seemed to be Techno. At one point, I heard them ID the station with "Don't touch that dial, you don't know where its been....One O One Nine...The Whore"! Then back into the music. That was about 2:20. When I was able to check again about 3:30, I couldn't hear it anymore.
