Also, Station 4 (Fairgrounds) calling station 68 portable.

I'm in Bonney Lake and hearing nothing, but then I'm not sure the scanner is programed correctly. Do you have to enter ID on each of the frequencies or just the CC?

just the CC as long as your radio supports control channel mode i would imagine. Then again i'm one of those who always inputs all the freqs for a TRS system just so not to have any issues with CC jumping around.

Watch out for this one if you are between it and KingCo sites 15/17 as both systems claim chan 1000 (868.4) as usable. Puyallup thinks this is both a good VC and Alt CC. The court house runs as a CC strong enough to be heard in Renton. Even tho I have the ol 396 set to End Code mode it still will lock into the motorboat of the courthouse - or start displaying KingCo TGIDS if I leave it programmed as an alt CC for Puyallup.

Another thread and a post of MTM's brings up a thought. Puyallup PD still has their VHF radios in the cars, and still at least scans with them (I've heard PCSO yakking away on East while a PPD officer was talking on the TRS; it was in the background).

One wonders if they're using the VHF for anything else, that they don't want on the (recorded) TRS groups...?

I still have the VHF in my scan list and they so far have been silent since the TRS came on line.(155.13000) & (158.9550 )
I wonder why Puyallup Tribal Police (166.6375) were not invited onto the TRS .
