I don't know the history on that one, but often when a new customer gets their first jet, or they change their livery (colors), they contract for a photo flight.

The photo plane is very often a Learjet, and they usually go in late afternoon to get good lighting and then some sunset shots.

...Albeit with a few hundred feet of separation, from wheels-up at BFI until out of sight westbound over Vashon.

A friend at the FAA says she thinks it was a photo flight.

The chase plane might be Clay Lacy Lear N564CL, sometimes they do photo flights for Boeing
