They used to be on 36944. Now it's silent. Doesn't come up on any of my scanners; I'm using 851.8125. Tried it with status bit ignore on and off.

Try 36848. It's Algona/Pacific PD. They alternate patching that talkgroup to Auburn and vice versa. Depending on which way it's patched, it'll show up differently in your scanner.

I don't know what scanner you have but, if it will let you, try 36947. When they patch their primary with Pac/Alg... their TGID goes up by 3. My Pro 97 won't let me put that TGID in but my BCT15 will!

I hear 'em on 36944 on my 97, and 36947 on my BR330. Or if I choose to ignore the status bit, I can put 36944 in.

Maybe I'll set the status bit to "Ignore" on my BCT15 and try that out for awhile.

That function isn't not documented very well anywhere. I'm using bcTool, and I have the "Status Bit" box checked. I just looked in the manual and here's what it says:

Ignore - the scanner rounds all received ID's down to the next interval of 16.
Yes - the scanner treats all received ID's as unique ID's.

I probably read that in the manual when I got my scanner but I had kind of forgot about the setting until you mentioned it. I had it set to "on". But with that info, I changed it to "ignore" and that sounds like a better way to go! Keeps from having to enter multiple TGID's because they turn on and off different patch set-ups.

Thanks...
Chuck
