EDACS systems do not transmit a specific system ID.  In order to distingish frequencies and talkgroups between systems, we assign a system ID to each one for the [http://www.interceptradio.com/s.php Intercept Radio Database].  These system IDs do not get programmed in to scanners.

EDACS systems do not transmit a specific system ID. In order to distingish frequencies and talkgroups between systems, we assign a system ID to each one for the Intercept Radio Database. These system IDs do not get programmed in to scanners.
