Notes

Reserve units are not usually dispatched and are usually only placed in service when replacing first line apparatus. When they're in service to supplement the normal crews (Major incidents or busy periods, and possibly for training), they're assigned 8X ids. You'll see this a lot with aid units: the common ones are Aid 82 as a second aid car working out of station 2, and Aid 85 out of station 17.
