Kenwood TK-980 / TK980 information

The Kenwood TK-980 doesnt go into the 900 ham band.
It might be possible to convert but you would have to change the
RX filter and make some VCO adjustments. Here is what I measured
from a stock TK-980:

RX Filter: 845-870mhz
RX VCO: 850-890mhz
TX VCO: 790-880mhz

I've heard from others that the PA unit might work up into the
low end of the 900 ham band.
