The Kenwood TK-980 doesnt go into the 900 ham band.<br />
It might be possible to convert but you would have to change the<br />
RX filter and make some VCO adjustments. Here is what I measured<br />
from a stock TK-980:<br />
<br />
RX Filter: 845-870mhz<br />
RX VCO: 850-890mhz<br />
TX VCO: 790-880mhz<br />
<br />
I've heard from others that the PA unit might work up into the<br />
low end of the 900 ham band.</div>Rich
