: : Hi, Does anyone have any new info on project?

:
: I was on Everett Mall Way, I noted that there is
: a 150 ft tower behind the old GTE building that
: the city was going to buy, this is not on the
: site map. This seems to be a real good location.

The site mentioned in the new SNOPAC dispatch center. The tower (180') was built by the Snohomish County Emergency Radio System (SERS), the organization that is building the new Sno County-wide system. It is the first tower that makes up the first half of the SERS system. This particular tower is just to get SNOPAC tied into the microwave network and will not have SERS 800 Mhz transmitter equipment at it (at least not to start with!). Nine other locations WILL have 800 MHz simulcast gear in place to serve the southwest corner of Sno County.

FYI- SERS expects to have a public web page up in a couple of months.
