Here are the Valley Com fire talk groups, just in case you are off on what you have. Fire 1 (38488) is the primary dispatch channel for all calls and where working incidents (non-medical) usually start. All aid calls are shifted, after dispatch, to Fire 2 (38480). Larger working incidents, fires, motor vehicle accidents, haz mat incidents, are shifted after dispatch to Fire 3.(38512) There are generally 2 fire dispatchers working 10a-10p, with 1 handling all of the channels during the other hours and relief dispatchers picking up when things get busy. When Valley Com assumes South Com's fire dispatch next year, there will probably be atleast 2 fire dispatchers 24/7, with the addition of the 3 South Com fire departments, especially Fed Way, which is a fairly large, 6 or 7 station operation.

The Valley Com trunk is the same as South Com and it also simulcasts the Eastside trunk completely. You can also get the primary Seattle Fire and PD talk groups on the Valley Com or King County trunk, as it is sometimes known.
