Don't know if the LED's are better...I saw it at a pretty sharp angle, and in direct sunlight. They seem to provide a sharper, crisper pattern - since they don't have the "cool down" of a tungsen element to deal with.

: I didn't see the LED Arrowstick - are they more visible than the halogen ones? I will second the feeling that the bars are VERY impressive when active - I was south on I-5 and had just turned the corner beyond the rest area at 112th abd a trooper had a car stopped just south of 128th and the bar was really intense at that distance!
