thanx for clearing that up
: : : 155.370 is LERN
:
: : has this list been updated and some freq juggling has happend? i scan all these in one bank, i would bever notice it tac 3 and F5 would change places, howerver when i heard this test i wrote down the freq, so i know the freq is right, maybe the purpose has changed.
: No bout adoubt it, 155.370 is Law Enforcement Radio Network, statewide. 'Course, agencies are known to use it quite a bit.
: In Seattle / King County (Valley Com EPSCA, etc...) there is a talkgroup that has a LERN receiver connected to it. This is a good one to listen to, as it sits high atop a peak somewhere's east of town (exact location was in a post a few months ago) It has butt kickin' receive range, I often listen to sheriffs on the Kitsap Peninsual talking to each other, on LERN (simplex) through the receiver on the trunked system. Kinda cool. Fort Lewis likes to use it alot too.
: Who knows, maybe Sno Comm (or whoever is up there) is testing a part of a similar setup for their new system. Keep in mind that 155.370 is a simplex frequency, meaning that if you hear them, they are either close, or coming at you from a high power / high elevation setup.
: Cheers
