: If you were monitoring on base communications, (ie. crew chiefs, mechanics, base security) maybe they moved to a 450 mhz digital trunking system? That would have been the ideal switch for them, but who knows. Maybe with all cut-backs they opted to switch over to the "Highly Versatile" and "Cost Efficient" Family Radio Service. :)
