As much as it pains me, I'm moving from Seattle to Tacoma this week. Can somebody provide me with helpful information to monitor local radio traffic in the Tacoma area? I'm particularly interested in Tacoma P.D. frequencies, a beat map and any terminology or codes they use that differ from the norm.
It almost seems a shame to use a perfectly good trunking scanner to monitor a non-trunked system.
One additional question ... does anyone know if it's possible to monitor Seattle P.D. from Tacoma? Perhaps using ValleyCom sites or something similar ... oh please tell me they reach that far.
