: : Does anyone know how the best way to listen to sea-tac is? It seems I'm only hearing one side of the conversation (the aircraft side)on 119.5 119.9 etc. But when it comes to the planes in flight I can hear both sides of conversation, as long as they arent on final approach.do the planes in contact with sea-tac hear a response on a different freq? Any help appreciated...
: email me if you still need this information, (I'm a pilot and have all freq's)
: or call me at 206 242-7543 or 7544*************
I live near the air port. All the freq's that the port uses are heard here :)
I know that the tower is 119.9 dispatcher is on 128.00
and I do have several others.
Seatac is building a new tower, so I am sure that with it, stronger radio's will be used.
I remember hearing the GATE talking to a pilot who was mad.. :) He would not leave the gate untill all the trash was OUT and SODA was on bord. I got a hoot of a laugh over that one.
Before I forget, visit the park near the airport's back side.. Bring your scanner... you will quickly find all the freq's they use..
Kind of a neet Idea...
