While Dick has a point, and makes it in a nicer way than most folks, I really doubt the crackhead on the corner is checking in here every day. As for laws, those will continue to be passed as long as we are too busy listening to our scanners to pay attention to who we vote for.

I will continue to post my "sightings" here, and appreciate the others who do. The stronger the hobby, the stronger the force legislators will be forced to overcome before they stuff more wrongheaded legislation down our collective throats. Maybe they should focus instead on funding some encrypted equipment for those who need it, instead of fattening their paychecks.
