: : does anyone have a quick list of burien, south king county sheriff or fire freq's available.
: : i have an outdated police call and just moved into he area.
: : thanks in advance!
: You will find these on the King County / Valley Com trunked system. PD just went off air with the UHF system. FD still transmits dispatch only on various VHF freqs, 154.415 for Burien / White Center area. No mobiles though.
If you have a trunk tracker, then the following talkgroups on the KC/VC system will be of use to you:
23280: King County Sheriff. The sheriff contracts with Burien & SeaTac, and patrols the rest of the unincorporated areas around there.
As for FD, they are on the Valley Com fire system:
38448: FIRE-1. All South King Co. FDs are dispatched here EXCEPT SeaTac, North Highline, and Federal Way. Within a year (probably) all departments will be dispatched on FIRE-1.
38480: FIRE-2. Tactical
38512: FIRE-3. Tactical
38544: FIRE-4. Tactical
30672: FIRE-5. This is the channel (operated by the soon-defunct South Com) that SeaTac and North Highline units are dispatched on. They used to have South Com unit designations, but switched over to Valley Com unit numbers this month.
30704: FIRE-6. South Com tactical
30736: FIRE-7. South Com tactical
30768: FIRE-8. South Com tactical
30800: FIRE-9. Federal Way FD dispatch (60's units)
If you want any more talkgroups or freqs for public service, aircraft, media, etc., don't hesitate to email me.
