: Let's look at this one...Why would Tukwila PD be training for pursuits on streets that don't exist in the city? And Zach, are you sure they were pursuits? Remember the basics of what to listen for during a pursuit:
: 1- Sirens (obviously)
: 2- Traffic reports. These usually consist of traffic density (heavy/medium/light/none), speed of vehicles, and sometimes street conditions (rain/clear/snow/???).
: 3- The word(s) pursuit and/or failure to yield
: 4- Command staff calling for continuation/termination of pursuit
: Could these be surveillances? Possibly taped and replayed pursuits from other jurisdictions? Training? I remember that TG used to be used by the TPD explorers and volunteers (the ones that monitored the cameras along Pac Hwy)...Could they be playing around on it? Good luck on this question...And please post the answer you come up with!

I feel really stupid on this one :). In fact, I did hear all of the above "basics" (except for a commander) but I should have been awake enough to check out the TGID in my database and put two and two together. I shouldn't have stayed up so late the night before :). Next time I will double check before I make a foolish post..hehehe
