This info may be old news to some, but just wanted to pass along a frequency active when I passed near the Gorge on I-90 near Vantage late one Friday in the last two weeks.
Grant County Sheriff's Office is using 156.165 with PL of 156.7 Hz to cover their operations at the concerts. It is being used in simplex mode. What I found interesting is that when units at the concert need to run record checks, et al, they call the dispatcher "Gorge" instead of MACC (the normal 'name' multi-agency dispatch operation in Grant County. In the 30 minutes of listening, I did not hear them go into repeater mode at all.
I'm assuming the SO officers covering the concerts may use additional simplex channels to talk to each other but I didn't stop to do any more investigation. I know there also is a private security company hired by the Gorge owners but haven't bothered trying to find them either.
