I checked this web site and saw what the DNR freqs. were. I programmed
all of the 151 and 159 freqs in and low and behold heard a big fire being
worked on in the Carson are. They gave it a name of "Ridge Runner"
but what I was hearing it on was 159.450 (R) very strong, and 151.235 (input)
very weak, almost unheard. But these freq pairs didn't show up on this site.
Does any one else have other freqs being used that are not on this site?
Also does any one know of any UHF control links to and from the repeater
sites. i live in Vancouver and the local DNR office at 18th and grand
has a UHF beam aimed due east from that location. That leads me to believe
that there are UHF links used. Early on there were units calling other
units a saying what repeater location they were using (Mt. Defiance)
in Oregon same Mt. that GPNF and MHNF use.
