: : I haven't been able to figure out what channel the medic units talk to on-scene units in Seattle. Regularly, I'll hear the dispatcher say something like "Aid 2, talk to Medic 1," and then nothing more. I presume that they've gone to another channel for this conversation? Any idea what that is? I see a few medic-related talkgroups on the list, but it doesn't seem like I've caught what I'm looking for on any of them...
: I know airlift uses 463.000 but I think seattle might use 463.025
: DAve....
In the pre-trunked system days, the SFD used to use 463.025 to talk to Medic 1 Doc and Trauma Doc. You'd hear pages on 453.800 for "Medic 1 Doc on Medcom for Medic 10" or "Trauma Doc on Medcom for Medic 28" or whatever. There are now talkgroups on the trunked system for them to do this, so they don't use the old UHF medical freqs anymore. I think Airlift NW may still use 463.100, but I'm not sure.
