Hey folks, I volunteered to do some cleanup and updating of some of the info here on the site.

The first thing I wanted to post was a map I created using Microsoft Virtual Earth. It plots the FCC licensed sites for the King County/Valley Comm, Seattle and EPSCA systems.

I know there have been many maps over the years but this one has the transmitters plotted on a satellite/aerial map.

If you hover over the icons you can see which site and system it is. If you center it and zoom in you can, in almost all cases, see the tower the antennas are on if you switch to birds eye view after you zoomed to the max.

Check the text for the site at Rattlesnake; you labelled it as the Skyway site.

Is'nt there a site above Skykomish? Sobieski? I think it is.
I'm not sure, as a matter of fact I don't ever monitor KC. Just thought there is a commo site way out there.

Yes, it's on there, just pan to the right a bit.

Oops. I'll keep my mouth quiet.
To bad we didn't have the whole state like that. At least WSP & DNR. That would be neato!

Isn't there a KC/VC site at Top Hat in White Center?
