Just moved into the Mountlake Terrace area from Phoenix, Az. and I have an old Pro-51 from Radio Shack. I was wondering if the local PD and FD are able to be monitored off of it? I manage the property, about 200 units, and always see them crusing through. When they get a call here, and they know who I am, they pull a "confidential" clause and don't release any info, but on the other hand they want me to devulage all the info I have on my tennant's...so, I thought I'd get the old scanner going so I don't have to get up and face the cold weather. Any info would be appreciated.

You're outta luck w/o a trunk scanner. They used to be VHF until recently. Hell I remember when a guy didn't need a trunk scanner for anything, Everything was VHF or UHF around Puget Sound.
:?: The good 'ol days for a scanner hobbyist :?:
