Yep that's my understanding as well. I can't confirm as we don't have any PV up here.

cool I did not know there was a radio that could receive PROVOICE :)

DSDPlus isn't a radio but a free piece of software. You'll need a scanner with a discriminator tap or other radio source (such as a SDR) to feed audio in to the program for it to decode it.

This video was made with an older version of DSDPlus. It's probably a lot better decoding now... hard to say why it sounds so bad at times -- but it is EDACS after all.

Uniden just announced a $50 upgrade for their x36 scanners that will decode ProVoice.
