I went through Salem, OR a couple times this weekend and was able to get up on the WA7ABU repeater (145.29-), but couldn't get the W7SAA repeater (146.625-, Pl 179.9) to come up. I was on my IC-92 so power was low, but I wonder if the W7SAA repeater is still working?

Also was over on the coast in Lincoln City, the 147.040 repeater worked great but didn't hear anyone else on it the whole weekend.

I haven't been down to Salem in ages so I have not checked if the W7SAA machine is still alive.

I'm always on 440.450 (103.5 PL) which covers Portland to Salem.

Cool. Next time I drive through I'll get on this air and try to reach you to say hi.

Can you tell me the call sign and also where the repeater is? It wasn't in my frequency list...

N7PIR is at the Skyline Tower in Portland (Well...the KGW/OPB tower to be exact)

If you can't get in there via Skyline, we have a sister tower at Goat Mtn on 443.700+ 103.5 PL as well.

Don't forget my VHF freq, it is 145.490- CSQ, and P25 NAC 293. Also the 441.800 100.0Hz PL, or P25 NAC 293. The VHF machine is in Newberg, and the UHF is down by McMinnville.
