Wesley Homes - Retirement Center in Des Moines, WA was granted WPLP-431 -- a two channel trunked system on 462.0125 R and 463.8125 R for security & operations. Some radio salesman will be having a very nice Christmas this year.

"Break - units 3 , 4 and 5 - go to Tac-3 -- we have a missing person some where on the grounds". Yup -- A real sales job.

Ha- about 10 years ago I applied and interviewed for a part-time (8 hours a week) security position at WH. At that time, there was one security person on duty at a time, and the duties as described and shown to me mainly consisted of dealing with the workings of the boiler rooms and assisting in meal service. They had, at that time, some sort of weird DTMF calling system in place, never did figure it out.

I posted the information about this station -- just because it was so strange. They could have been happy with a couple of MURS portables. Jesse James wasn't the only one to rob people. 7K60FXE modulation -- so it must be some sort of alarm or paging system.

Could be Motorola trbo stuff. 2 frequencies could = 4 usable digital channels. I need to look at my notes but that modulation looks familiar...

I got a couple of mobile trbo radios new in box. I should post them, come to think of it...
