Picked up a 164 for a friend. I've been with the manual for an hour and no luck programming one silly trunked bank. All I want to do is put in 868.175 and a few talk groups. Shouldn't be that hard. I'm not :stupid: are I?

If you have a chance to come up to the seattleish area, I can hook it up and program it for ya. Using PSRedit300, no issues with the 164 I got on black Friday.

You profile says you're in Port Townsend. Can you hear that control channel from your location? If not try a Seattle/King Co site.

Thanks for the help. I returned to RS and had them program King County. An yes I get the Seattle system in PT no problem with the Motorola and 80+% of the time with the 396.

CPS just works fine on all 3 of my XTS5000's.......I think my new APX will work well too.

Yeah, my XTS went TU and the tech said it was FUBAR and I thought to myself BOHICA...IHTFP. Well, SOM because it was GTG with some tweaking- someone had a COTDA. Typical for a tech- KITD FOHS.
