Didn't even have to read the article before I guessed this.. So much for lowband and CB users.

To hell with part 15.

Because Chevy did what they could to mitigate any interference and comply with part 15.. or their technology simply inherently produced less rfi.

One of the tests that Michigan State Patrol does with vehicles in the past was noise floor caused by the various vehicles they test.. The CHP pays allot of attention to those figures for obvious reasons.. It will be interesting to watch the industry going forward.

Another reason why I dont value freedom of the press (which ill explain below), because of articles like this. They are written to get attention and quite frankly most mainstream articles violate this freedom all the way.

Explanation:
Freedom of the press was originally designed to let newsmakers let alone newspapers write stories based on what "people" felt, even if they went to school and got a degree in creative writing, mass media and creative studies. The problem with these "people", they dont really solve the problem of the freedom being violated every day by biased fake information. Whether its fox, CNN, HLN, NBC. ABC, CBS, this industry is the main reason why I am highly disvaluing that freedom. Blame the stories they "make up" to get peoples attention and panicing going. Its part of the reason why the term "pandemic" exists, you panic based off of an epidemic because the news fed you that information. And by the way, I recovered from that "virus" twice, no vaccine required!! Even the masks I despise.

To go back on topic with the above explanation:
The AM radio stations are not going away. And if they did, thats a massive blow to the industry of radio, which then means aircraft have to use more digitally acceptable protocols which wont reach a single relay or receiver to the ATC or ground. Plus, manufacturers are trying to find ways to mitigate this problem without having to rid of the electric motor in cars. My biggest solution is to put an RF shield all around the car and stick the antenna in the back of the car, or on the roof if the battery and motors are on opposite sides.
